Introduction to AI for Work
A short, no-prerequisites course on what AI is, where it helps in your job, and how to use it well and responsibly.
If you've never had a proper introduction to AI and want one that's about your job rather than the technology, this is a good place to start. Taught by Yusuf Saber, DataCamp's Chief AI Officer, it takes two to three hours and assumes no technical background.
The course has three chapters. Understanding AI explains machine learning and large language models in plain terms. Value of AI for Work helps you spot which of your tasks AI can take on, from doing the work to acting as a thought partner. Working with AI covers prompting, iterating on results, and the limits, privacy questions and risks to watch for.
It's part of DataCamp's subscription library. You can create a free account to get started, and you get a Statement of Accomplishment to add to LinkedIn when you finish.
